Monday, June 17.   Registration begins at 9:30am to 9:00pm.

   From 9:30 am until 9:00 pm Youth Services will be serving FIRECRACKERS (red, white, & blue Popsicles.)  Get a ticket for a free Popsicle when you register for the Summer Reading Program in Youth Services.  You may redeem your ticket as you exit the library.

 Read 3 books, earn a tattoo
Read 6 books, earn stickers
Read 9 books earn a pencil
Read 12 books, earn a post card
Read 15 books, earn bubbles
Read 18 books, earn a T-shirt, a SRP party ticket & Panera Bread Coupon
Read 21 books, earn a pizza coupon & a Daily Herald Big Ticket
Read 25 books, earn a paperback
Read 35 books, earn a Loft mini cookie/ice cream or ice cream sundae
Read 30 books, earn a yoyo
Read 40 books, earn a lanyard

End of the Summer Reading Program Parties: Circus Boy

Thursday, August 8: 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 7:00 pm

   Circus Boy is from Ringling Bros. & Barnum Bailey Circus.  He has performed for two USA presidents.  He blends stand-up comedy with circus skills, which include: BMX Trick bicycling, balancing atop an 8 foot ladder, and ping-pong-ball mouth juggling.   For Summer Reading Program finishers only.

Young Adult Summer Reading Program

Monday, June 17.   Registration begins at 9:30am to 9:00pm.

     Read 10 books and earn a T-shirt, a Lou Malnati pizza coupon for an individual pan pizza, a ticket to the Summer Reading Program party, Two tickets to the Elk Grove Cinema and a raffle ticket.  For every additional 10 books read, you will receive an additional raffle ticket.  Raffle prizes will be gift certificates to Woodfield Mall.
