Our Youth Services Department has much to offer, including:

Over 122,000 books (including 2,100 titles in our Parenting Collection , 900 Spanish titles in our Spanish Collection, and
13,000 volumes for Young Adults, aged 12-18.)

Most textbooks for districts #59, #54, and Queen of the Rosary

Over 21,000 audio/visual materials (including 5,200 DVDs 9,400 videos,  3,500 compact discs, 800 CD-ROMs, and 1,500 audiobooks on tape and CD)

Computer room with 3 internet PCs and 5 Macs

Programs throughout the year including story times, crafts, performers, Battle of the Books, and both summer and winter reading programs

Volunteer opportunities for kids grades 6 and up

Outreach services to Elk Grove preschools, elementary and junior highs, including library and classroom visits and topical book bags.
