Philosophy/General Purpose: ABCC was founded in 1989 to meet the growing childcare needs of its employees. We have served hundreds of families looking for a high quality program and a secure, nurturing environment for their children. Guided by the Alexian Brothers’ values, we are committed to providing each child with compassionate and competent care. We believe in helping young children develop a positive sense of self and a respect for others and the world around them.

Curriculum: We offer a flexible age-appropriate curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs. Our staff creates theme-based lesson plans that focus on learning through play. We have created a program that promotes the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each child. We emphasize learning at the child’s own pace and having a partnership with parents in the care and understanding of their child.

Other Pertinent Information: We provide breakfast, 2 nutritious snacks, and a hot lunch each day. We are proud of our highly-qualified staff. Many of the staff have been here since we opened in 1989! We take pride in the fact that we are an accredited center by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We also started a Kindergarten Program in October, 2000. We offer a full or half day program. Children can learn in a school-setting environment, yet have a smaller class size which allows for more individualized instruction. Before or after Kindergarten care is also available. This can provide consistency for the child and the parents by offering the opportunity to be in one program at the same school.
