Hours

Monday-Thursday 9:00 am - 10:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Library is closed on the following days:  New Year's Day; New Year's Eve open 9 am - 1 pm; Easter; Memorial Day & the preceding Sunday; Fourth of July; Labor Day and the preceding Sunday; Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; and Christmas Day.
If you need reference service after the Library is closed, simply call the Library's telephone number (847-439-0447).  You will be directly connected to our Night Owl Service, an after hours telephone reference service. It is available daily (except holidays) until midnight.

The Library is just 200 yards south of Biesterfield Road on the east side of Wellington Avenue, across the street from the Park District Pavilion.  Look for the illuminated "Elk Grove Village Public Library" sign at the driveway entrance.

  • The current facility opened in September 1990.
  • The building contains 63,000 square feet.
