Qualification:
Minimum high school junior plus one year of training in computer systems hardware and software or demonstrated ability to do the job; physically able to maneuver in and about computer stations for repair purposes.
Attributes:
Good communications skills and ability to understand and share written and oral instructions; ability to exercise initiative; must exercise tact, friendliness, and patience when working with patrons and staff; can work productively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Assists patrons and staff with PC/Mac applications and peripherals; maintains and troubleshoots equipment and software applications; may research/recommend software or hardware for purchase; occasionally develops documents, databases, or forms for in-house use; provides assistance for acquiring, cataloging, and weeding computer books/materials; assists at miscellaneous tasks at the Periodicals and Youth Services Desks.
Hours:
Varies - days, nights and weekends as needed. Approximately 16 hours per week.

$11.58 per hour
