Battle of the Books is made up of teams of 4th and 5th graders from local elementary schools. Homeschoolers with an Elk Grove Village Library card are welcome as well. Meets take place at the library beginning mid-January and go through mid-March on weekdays at 4:00, 4:30, or 5:00 pm.
The Battle of the Books book list is now available on our website. Books featured in the Battle are ready for checkout at the Library and are in a special location.
SIGN UP at the Library beginning Monday, October 15 - Friday, November 2, 2012. A parental signature is necessary. Teams consist of four members from the 4th and 5th grades. A mandatory "Participants and Parents Meeting" will be held at 6 pm on Monday, November 12, 2012.
