C.O.R.E. 

(Coordinated Reserves)

Our C.O.R.E. service was created to enable all students to have equal access to Library materials in high demand because of multi-class research assignments.

 Requests for reserve should be made at least one week before the assignment begins.

Beginning and ending dates for the assignment must be provided.

 Requests can be made be e-mailing or calling the Youth Services Department at 439-0447.

Teachers should notify students that the materials will be located on bookshelves beneath a special sign that says “CORE mini-collection”.   

Rules for “CORE” checkout        

• Limit of two books per student

• Length of checkout is 48 hours

• Overdue fine is $.25/day

• CORE books will not be put in bookbags
