:: Gaming Cheats ::

Like the cheats that gamers use for different video games (online, on your PC, or on gaming systems) here is where you can find a list of clues to help ensure a successful scavenger hunt. The characters on this list are the ones that will be hidden throughout the Kid's Korner website. Next to each character is a clue as to which webpage each is hiding. You may keep this window open and use it during your hunt. You may also print it by clicking on the printer icon or download it by clicking on either the Adobe Reader or the Microsoft icons.

:: Teen Tech Week Gaming Cheats ::

1) Captain Jack Sparrow is too busy looking for a way to live forever, so he doesn't have time for you to find him. He'll just let you find him easily by telling you where he is: the Kid's Korner Homepage.
2) Queen Amidala enjoys watching Star Wars and listening to the soundtracks to those movies, but she doesn't have a library card to check them out.  You can find her on this page, looking up how she can get a library card.
3) Anakin Skywalker is always ready for battle, but his passion is reading YA books.
4) Darth Vader lives his life on the Dark Side, but like his younger self--Anakin Skywalker--he likes to visit museums, especially the Adler Planetarium in Chicagoland.
5) Draco Malfoy never follows the rules. Even though he is a pure-blood wizard, Harry Potter probably knows something he does not: how to use a computer.
6) Harry Potter is famous to the wizarding world for having escaped Lord Voldemort when he was just a baby, but we Muggles know him for being one of the favorite characters in J. K. Rowling's famous books following his life's adventures.
7) Hermione Granger is the smartest teen witch at Hogwarts and is always willing to help out a friend with their homework. She might never visit this page on the EGVPL website, but she's at the center of this page anyway, waiting for you to find her.
8) Inuyasha is Kagome's friend, whom she tries to keep safe because he always finds trouble, especially when he uses the computer.
9) Naruto is a loud, hyperactive, and unpredictable ninja who constantly searches for recognition and wants to become one of the strongest ninjas in Elk Grove Village. If anyone denies him his dream, he'll battle it out with them to settle the score by showing you how many more books he can read than you.
10) Always there to save the day, Pikachu is better at letting you know what you need to know, especially when it comes to general information about the Youth Services Department.
11) Ronald Weasley is used to receiving howlers from his mother, but he doesn't mind visiting this page to contact us, especially since he always has questions and needs a librarian to answer them.
12) Sailor Moon, also known as Serena, is a carefree schoolgirl and she believes she can use with confidence the Dewey Decimal System to find whatever book she wants. She challenges you to see if you know the Dewey Decimal system as well as she does.
13) Yugi is a shy, pure-hearted high school student and gaming expert who possesses many ancient Egyptian relics. He too loves adventure and likes to have fun, so he often visits Teen Screen to find out what YA programs are going on in Youth Services.
