All residents of incorporated Elk Grove Village are entitled to a free Elk Grove Village Public Library card.
Have your parents or guardian stop by the Reception Desk with their driver's license, utility bill, or other proof of residency. Call for further information (847) 437-0447.

It's quick, free, and will give you access to books, music, movies, and great electronic resources like Consumer Reports, Gale Legal Forms, and downloadable eBooks and audiobooks. Sign up for a card during the month of September and receive our thank you gift, a fun reusable EGVPL tote bag. Already have card? Bring a friend to get his or hers and you'll both receive a bag. Note: You must present valid proof of residency to receive a library card. Call the library for details. Limit: one tote bag per person...while supplies last.
