The game's afoot this winter at the Elk Grove Village Public Library! Roll the dice on a good book with our classic board game theme. Take a Risk in the Game of Life - nothing is Trivial in Pursuit of the perfect book. So get a Clue and sign up at the Adult Reference Desk. You won't be Sorry! Read three books to be eligible for our prize drawings.
How to Participate
- Register at the Adult Reference Desk. You will receive a Log Sheet and Suggested Booklist. If you are unable to come in to the Library, call us to request materials for Curbside Pickup.
- Read three books from different categories.
- There are 9 reading categories. Pick a category by rolling the dice at the Adult Reference Desk.
- You will find lists of suggested titles in our Player Guide and in our special display area, but you can choose any book that fits a category description.
- When you finish reading a book, write the title and author of your book on a Category Card. Place the Category Card in your Player Game File.
- When you have completed three books and filled out the Category Cards, you may seal your Player Game File and enter it in the Prize Drawing Box.
- One entry per person.
- 10 people will win a $20 gift card to a local restaurant.
