Libraryland -- Your Happy Place
June 9 - September 7, 2025
For ages 14 years and older
We're honoring the 70th anniversary of Disneyland with our own take on the happiest place on earth. Libraryland, our Adult Summer Reading Program, features 10 enticing areas of good books. Take a stroll down Main Street, USA, by reading a book set in a small town, take off to Tomorrowland with a sci-fi story, or pull into Dewey's Drive-In and watch a Disney classic. Book your trip starting Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Adult Reference Desk and enjoy the happiest place all summer through Sunday, September 7, 2025.
How to Participate
In Person
- Register at the Adult Reference Desk starting Monday, June 9, 2025.
- Pick up a Libraryland Map (log sheet) and Libraryland Guidebook (booklist of suggested titles).
- Read, watch, or listen to five (5) titles from five (5) different categories.
- Choose books from our displays or pick your own titles based on the category descriptions.
- Log each title you complete on your Libraryland Map.
- For each title you complete, fill out a prize ticket and drop it in one of the prize buckets located behind the Adult Reference Desk. The more you read, the more tickets you earn, the better your chances to win!
- When you've completed five (5) categories, request your program t-shirt at the Adult Reference Desk.
- Prize winners will be announced at our Wrap-Up Party in September. Stay tuned for details!
Online
- Starting Monday, June 9, 2025, log in or create a Beanstack account, then register for the Adult Reading Program.
- Log your books in Beanstack to earn online tickets to enter in our prize drawings.
- Print your Libraryland Map (log sheet). You must turn in a completed log sheet in person at the Adult Reference Desk to receive your program t-shirt, even if you log books online.
- View our Libraryland Guidebook (booklist) for reading suggestions for each category, or choose your own books based on category descriptions.
- After completing five (5) categories, request your program t-shirt in person at the Adult Reference Desk.
- Prize winners will be announced at our Wrap-Up Party in September. Stay tuned for details!
